Would the match ticket, if issued by the FAI, also double as the e-visa? Wasn't that the case for Wales in the Euro's?

Just booked this trip. Waited a bit too long waiting for ticket confirmations so maybe the most expensive flights I have booked. I guess I saved up enough not travelling in the last 2 years to make it up for the cost.

While I organised my transfers via the hotel at a cost of a tenner I often find taxi drivers in these type cities won't be able to find your accommodation. However I feel ripped off and I havnt even landed yet.

Hi Lads, one of the lads are in a predicament as he spotted on the Visa application that his passport needs to be in date 3 months after the VISA expires so 6 months after your arrival into the country, big money spent on flights already, his passport expires 6 days short of the 6 months.

Is it possible to apply for a VISA for an earlier date and then still enter the country on the date of his flight? Or would he be able to get a new passport on time when our flight is 2 weeks away? Anyone who might know anything about this would be hugely helpful

I spoke to him last night he should be able to put an earlier arrival date on his visa therefor his visa expires while still leaving three months on his passport. Failing that he still should be able to renew his passport in time.

You can put a date next week on the visa if you wanted, doesn't need to be the day of arrival, it just has to be valid for entry.

That man is in a predicament half the time.LOL Worse case he’ll have to pay €50 extra for an emergency passport which he’ll have to get shortly anyway so should be ok.
