So it looks like Forest are moving on 2 of the CBs they have on their books, Worrall (26) & McKenna (27). Both started the first 5 games this season but have apparently been exiled from the squad since.

Andy's competition is now:
Boly (32) (going to AFCON)
Niakhate (27) (going to AFCON)
Murillo (21)
Filipe (34)

Forest do a lot of chopping and changing, so hopefully AO gets some games soon. They do seem like a basket case club though, so it seems like a strange move.

Possibly. I think he’ll bounce back ok sooner or later. Harry Arter return not at all likely though.

Seems very strange that a club like Forest spend 11 million on a player and he is failing to even get listed amongst a 20 man squad for a premier league game. Seems like Steven Reid and Andy Reid have been kept on the coaching staff from the last manager, and surely they can put in a good word for him, but the new manager doesnt seem to rate Omobamidele either....

Not really with the stupid money these clubs have.
It’s a bit like Hull openly admitting the other day they signed James Furlong with zero plan to develop him or include him.

Then again zero sympathy for the lad they completely threw the deal with Legia Warsaw out the window to be sent into that situation.

Irish players as a collective are so badly advised it’s borders on disbelief at times.

At least they’re paying Harry Arter £40,000 a week. Not all bad.

He signed for Norwich in 2019 though which will make him a homegrown player next year.

Hes currently still an u21s player though, so he doesn't count towards their 25 man squad list this season anyway.

Hopefully this could be a big month for Omobamidele. Forest have Niakhate, Boly, Aurier and Aina all unavailable due to the AFCON. Think he’s gotten on the bench a couple of times recently but with that many defenders out could be a great opportunity for him to finally get a start.
