No penalty but happy days, and a goal.
Ref has the look of junior football about him

Similar to Kenny's lone striker formations at times for the senior team the lone striker is completely isolated.
Bagan is doing well just looks a really nice addition in a position that we don't have much coming through as of yet. Tierney has looked lively but final ball has been really poor once or twice when he could have played Kerrigan/Kayode clean through.

Never a peno and I'm amazed Kerrigan got 85 mins tbh. Some good performances, O'Brien at CB looks to have come on a lot since the move to Palace, looked a lot less awkward than previously, Bagan looks a proper prospect for that LB position. Coventry very good, but can be annoyingly sloppy at times, Kilkenny not as good as last window, prob due to lack of game time since. Wright is a confident lad, but maybe hasnt quite got the tekkers to go with it just yet. Noss looked good when intro'd, must be pushing for a start. Kayode limited, they could really do with a striker, maybe Ferguson can grow in to it, but he barely got a touch. Decent night's work, 3pts, Montenegro (A) next, hopefully the main squad will be given special dispensation to travel.

From Crawfords interview sounds like it's going to be up to the clubs whether lads can travel or not. More than likely going to be a home based squad traveling to Montenegro tomorrow.

Tbf the lone striker Kayode wasnt showing for the ball nor holding the ball up well enough when it got to him, although Tierney should maybe have been getting closer. Noss looked bright when he came on and looks a proper little #10, he should start the next day. Agreed re Bagan, himself and Ferry should work well down that side and allow Wright to go back on the RHS in place of Kerrigan. Throw Parrott or Idah in to that team and I reckon they could make a real fist of qualifying. Coventry and Kilkenny are a good pairing at that level and the CBs look decent, with Mc Entee in reserve. Lee O'Connor hasnt really kicked on which is a shame, he improved 2nd half, but he kicked the ball away aimlessly 4 or 5 times in the first half, not really good enough for a lad with his experience at that level.

Not sure how Dawson Devoy isn't starting.
For me I think he is a more complete player than Tierney, who is decent but relies on sheer energy and aggression to get around the pitch. Devoy in midfield would pick out passes between the lines that most players in that squad wouldn't even see.

Disappointed that Ferguson didnt get a kick when he came on, was hoping to see more of him. Noss did well. I like the midfield pairing of Kilkenny and Coventry. Always showing for the ball, keeping the ball moving and not just giving easy sideways balls all the time. Both look to play forward when they can. Like the look of Bagan at LB, hopefully he can push on too and contend for a place in senior squad in the next few years. Centre backs seemed solid but O'Brien was the better of the two in my opinion.

just back from the game there. Good enough performance. No one going forward really caught the eye but general ability to pass and control the ball around and look the far better team was good. Great move for opening goal. Peno looked soft which now reading here seems to be the case.
Coventry probably was MOTM for his general control of the game and defence was really solid
