Dublin GAA opt out of all votes on Croke Park so it's not their fault.

Sending Mayo to Cork or Thurles wouldn't really be too fair.
I can imagine they are happy to play in Croke Park.

Unless Dublin are playing.

So give Dublin a home game? Play it in Galway or Clones. Anywhere but at home.

Both grounds not big enough to host the crowd involved.
And Clones would be a tough trip for all fans.
Nobody is against fairness but I think if you actually spoke to Mayo fans, players etc most would be happy to play this game in Croke Park.

Mayo have ample experience in Croker and have beaten Dublin there several times. The 'home' advantage argument is dubious, at best.

Fancy Tyrone, Mayo, Armagh.

Think Cork have a solid chance in the other one if they study the Monaghan vs Derry game.

Eh, twice. Hardly several.

There is nothing at all dubious about the argument. But pointless arguing now. Won't change, will never change.

Fair enough, but they also picked up two draws in 2015 and 2016. Basically Mayo are well versed in managing Croke Park. I would argue the same about Kerry.

Would you rather the game this weekend was somewhere else? Couple of Mayo fans I talked to were happy for it to be there but obviously they don't talk for everyone.

That's a different conversation to be fair. I don't particularly like going to Dublin or Croke Park but I will! I'm sure if the team were asked they'd go Croker for the occasion that it is.

All I was saying was that the argument the CP is Dublin's home ground is far from dubious.

For the love of god though, anywhere, anywhere but Salthill. A tidy ground but a f**king disaster to get to
