Wouldn't have called a front three of Horgan, Maguire and Connolly, even with the squad being depleted. However, Kenny has references a number of times the fact he wants pace in his attack. There is certainly plenty of that in those front three

Intersting to see he's picked both Horgan and Maguire. Both looked lively when they came on against Wales, Horgan more so of the two. Still nobody probably would have predicted that front 3 before the game, but alot of pace there.
Looking forward to seeing O Shea with Duffy

Struggling for goals and he turns to Maguire and horgan🤦‍♂️. Good luck to the team but I would be very disappointed with the selection of those two players and have to question a manager that would pick them.

I must have been watching a different game against Wales, Maguire barely touched the ball in the match I watched. Clutching at straws if that was a very good performance from him..?
Anyway he has a big chance tonight we need goals, can he deliver. Lets hope so. |

Horgan is not that bad, big chance for him too. At least Kenny is trying a few things. No point playing the same lads in attack when we don't score.
I would prefer a formation change and James Collins included though but lets see how this plays out in front 3. It won't be hard to be an improvement on the previous 4 matches. |

would've like to see cullen from the start but otherwise, given the circumstances, reasonably happy with that team

Can you outline how Collins would fit in with what Kenny is trying to do. How would he deal with balls into feet and open the play out to the full backs or feed it back to midfielders or those bursting through. Collins is a poor mans mick Hartford

Same, even when I heard fans would be there I expected it to be like 500. 8k is a big enough number.
