Why can't they name the player? I know the general public have anonymity but they release players positive tests in the EPL eg. Mane and Zlatan's results were made public

I think clubs don’t want it announced, read that somewhere the other day. That’s why the 4 close contacts were announced but the actual player who tested positive wasn’t before Wales.
