The prices seem to have steadily risen over the last 6 months. It’s not worth it at the min IMO

Is discount codes available online for up to 15% of if buying from UK sites. Also take into account you get £5/€5 back for each keg you return (which is done for free)

I've had a few kegs that cost me nothing as have built up the fivers I got from returning the keg

Traditional kegs appear to be the best value at the moment, apart from Guinness which is in short supply.
Mind is more or less made up that I will go for the full system with kegerator and gas when building my in-house mini-bar in April.

Hasn't been much progress on the bar over the past few weeks, still waiting for it to dry out and have a couple of dehumidifiers going all day to speed it up. Hopefully will get the lino down this week which means we can then try and get someone in to build the bar. New fridge and sink there but just want to get it finished now, 10 weeks nearly since started.

Started to check with a company about a home draught system. Seems it's a little more complicated than I thought!

One of the systems being proposed was an 'Instant Single (or Double) Draught Beer System' which is basically just a Keg with the Cooler. My understanding is that keg is not cooled but the beer goes through the cooler system as you pull it and a fan system kicks in so that it cools during that process. It then takes about 2 minutes between each pint to cool.

Anyone able to advise if they have something similar, is it good? Is it better to go for a Kegerator system instead (apparently they are hard to get kegs for).

Long story short, I'm looking for a system for 50L keg rather than a Blade or that and just trying to figure out the best system that will get me a pub quality beer.
