As is stands, we are still in the mix for that Pot 2 spot.

Russia need to lose one of their two games. 

Won’t be a better chance for that to happen than being down to ten men for last 65 minutes of a game against Turkey.

what we need from here:

Turkey to see out that game v Russia with a win.

We try take at least a point in this game.

From there we will need to find a way to score a goal against Bulgaria. Need to win that.

Achieve that and if Russia don’t beat Serbia away then we would be in Pot 2.

Lot of football to be played. 

Already been a few twists and turns today in the Russia game, and with the result in Slovakia.

But as it stands, we have a chance

There's a pretty decent chance of all those results happening. N.I. will definitely beat Romania, Czech's should beat Slovakia and hopefully Serbia will scrape it against Russia.

Yup would need Serbia to beat Hungary
Austria to beat North
Russia to lose
Romania to lose
Iceland to lose

we would have comfortably made pot 2 if we had been able to get just a couple of results in recent months....


But, we aren’t a Pot 2 side.
