You got a proper reason. If you don't agree with it though, that's a matter for you. The Chelsea equaliser at West Brom early in the season was also allowed to stand, as there were 2 passes between the handball and the goal scored.

I watched the Firmino handball at Spurs there again on YouTube
The ball bounces up off his knee/thigh and hits his hand, on the half way line as he controls it. Then there are 3 passes before Salah scored What’s the difference with this and Tielemans? What happened this 2 pass rule? Did you invent that this afternoon?

You’re making up these rules as you go along
At least two passes The leg won possession first No one has given me a proper reason from the rule book of how Tielemans goal was allowed to stand in the cup final

Nobody scored it because it didn't count. It was disallowed because possession was first gained with the hand. The leg won possession first in the cup final.

Wasn't aware of that rule of at least two passes.
Was there not a goal scored by Liverpool away at Tottenham in January where Firmino handled the ball on the halfway line and it led to a goal, can't remember who scored it but there were a few passes before it ended up in the net. |

There was at least 2 passes between the accidental handball and the goal being scored, so the goal was given. That rule has changed from last season. There was 0 passes between the time Wilson handled the ball and him putting it in the net, therefore it was disallowed. He gains possession because of said handball and puts it in the net directly. That aspect of the rule has not and will not change. |

Yeah but this wasn’t a penalty incident, I knew those rules had been changed
If the ball hits any of the attacking team players arms and it leads to a goal it’s to be disallowed whether it’s accidental or not We saw it two weeks ago when Callum Wilson had a goal disallowed at anfield, it was unfortunate but the correct call by the letter of the law

Hit his leg before his hand so the decision was correct, that's not a handball. Offside decision was bang on as well. Vindication for VAR today. They might tweak it a bit but it's definitely here to stay.

What happened the rule that if it hits a players hand in the build up to a goal whether intentional or not it should not stand?
I see ball struck Perez’s hand before Tielemans scored |
