All football in Ireland suspended until the 29th March
Eamonn Dunphy:"I'll tell you who wrote it, Rod Liddle, he's the guy who ran away and left his wife for a young one".

Bill O'Herlihy: Ah ye can't be saying that now Eamonn

Beginning of the end for all sporting competitions for a while - Look whats happened outside of football.

NBA suspended
McClaren withdrawing from F1.

It’s going to be interesting to see how Serie A decide their season - The 3 options they’ve put on the table is declare no one a winner, have everyone in the top 6 and bottom 6 have 2 separate playoffs or just have Juve and Lazio have a winner takes all match

I'd say most Italians couldn't give a flying fcuk re Serie A at the minute, given the state of the country at the moment.

It's going to be really interesting to see how everything gets reorganised in the end,. Euros being such a big event with lots of travel involved, it makes sense to just postpone a year.
Then probably extend the competitions currently suspended or going to be suspended into may and June. Seems most logical, if we are able to go back to normal within the next month

Euros won’t go ahead. Probably become Euro 21 if anything.
All leagues should stop now and resume in the summer when things have calmed down. Then play a shortened season next year

Making a serious assumption of rational thought on behalf of EPL and UK government there Coyne, I'd be assured of neither. They'll probably draw up a fixture calendar without Leicster and Arsenal tomorrow, then another one the next day without the next 2 affected clubs, then another one........etc

EPL be like a real life last man standing (should probably patent that idea)

Why do they need a meeting? Can they not make a fairly obvious decision without getting their head in some posh trough up the West End?
