only reason games are continuing are for commercial reasons. If they stop now hard to know when they will restart.

A side note Klopp coming out with some disingenuous 💩. If Liverpool had the injury issues others have eg Leed he’d be asking for a halt. He wants games played before he looses players to Africa Nations.

The calls happened last year as well, and the league wasn't suspended. There isn't the room to play weeks of postponed games. If clubs were told either "play or forfeit" they would soon round up enough players to cobble together a team, as Villa did in the cup last year. 

Has any current footballer died as a result of this virus? I can't think of one.

In England, you play football at Christmas, that's just the way it is. Most of the foreign managers would love a winter break, as that's what they're used to. They'll be the first to the nearest microphone when they have to face 4 games in 8 days later in the season.

Be interesting to see what comes from the meeting tomorrow. Sounds like there's no consistency between what games went ahead this week and didn't One would say 8 players out and went ahead, next said 8 out and got cancelled. Sounds like a lot of it came to judgement calls, as to who were starters and who were backups.
