Would be great to watch the euros on a big screen  having a few pints in a beer garden.

Let's be realistic here, did any pub actually enforce that? The same with the €9 food. That's why they were shut down again.

Was in pubs locally, and in Galway, and they all enforced that rule, with the exception of one.

The Grasshopper in Clonee was the only pub I was in last summer that you could get away with it.

Good work on this, fair play. Just wonder what impact a speedier roll out would have on the date forecasts for vaccination completion. Read somewhere of 450,000 vaccines a week being a target June (that's 60k a day) ?

let's say we continue at the current seven day rate of 23,208 first doses until the 1st June
that's 34 days (three days in April, and 31 days in May) at 23,208 doses a day = 789,072 doses
Adding that to the current total of 1,041,284 people who have received their first dose gives 1,830,356 people who will have received their first dose on 1st June, leaving approximately 2,032,791 people over the age of 16 unvaccinated
If we average 60k doses a day from the 1st June on, it'll take 33.8 days to vaccinate those, meaning the final first dose will be administered on Sunday, 4th July

I wasn't in any pub that enforced the rules, as in had to order food and be gone after 1h45, one did make you order food but the other few didn't

Is there a date for outdoor football matches resuming?
It would damage this forums' reputation

The 1hr 45min limit was only if you couldn't be spaced 2m from other tables. The Eden in Rathfarnnham challenged it with and were allowed to leave people as long as they wanted.

It’s quite worrying to see the trend in Ireland. It’s now being left behind by its EU counterparts in the vaccine roll out, and reopening of the economy. And it’s many many months behind it’s neighbours in the British isles. One has to wonder how an Ulster championship could play out as one example. Post June 21st, normality will return to U.K. You'd expect large crowds being able to watch a Tyrone Game in Omagh meanwhile in Donegal.. ‘small crowds’. Could fans from Monaghan watch a game in Fermanagh in a packed house? Interesting times ahead.

Cheers, based on what we know i can see it being towards the latter part of July/early August before first doses completed. Half glass full type me, more and more hopeful of Luxembourg in November now.

Majority of pubs in Dublin city centre limited their capacity.

Most people didn't seem to realise that if there was 2m distancing between groups there was no need for the 1hr45 limit. Most pubs probably enforced it to get more people in though
