I took sick in work last March, thought I was going to faint and was sweating like mad only to be freezing two minutes later, then was in bed with diarrhoea the next four days

The same thing happened me last night after the vaccine. Sweating up thought I was gonna pass out heart beating like mad and two mins later I was freezing

Anyone in the ROI get it yet?

I work with a guy from India (probably an Irish citizen at this stage) and he's getting it today, he's based in Wexford.

I’m 32, but on immunosuppressants, and have been told I’m still 4-6 weeks away

A friend told me he got his about 2 weeks ago 42 years old, he has some issues so I didn't ask him why. My sister's boyfriend got his at least 4 weeks ago late 30s he has cycstic fibrosis so probably right at the very top of the at risk list.

I hppe this Johnson and Johnson one shot vaccination gets approved quickly. I think it's been revieed by the EMA this week
It would damage this forums' reputation

Its been reviewed and approved by the EMA already with the benefits far outweighing the risks. Its to be labelled as carrying a very rare side effect of unusual blood clots.

EU regulator says unusual blood clots should be listed as 'very rare side effect' of J&J vaccine

As expected.

This guy is the same age as myself. So was curious to see how he was getting it so soon.

My wife's parents are 60+ and in the high risk bracket and no sign of them getting it.

Mother over 70 had 2nd dose of Pfizer before easter, no problems. Her health centre seem to be firing on all cylinders working down through the ages chronologically.

I fail to understand why NIAC have to wait until tomorrow to make the decision on what way to go with JnJ.
They knew EMA were meeting \ concluding yesterday.
Before EMA met \ concluded the outcome scenarios were  known.
The response to each outcome scenario can be prepared.
Schedule a meeting Tuesday evening and announce decision.
The Dutch announced straight away they were restarting today.

In the Dail today... 'NIAC will meet to consider its position on the vaccine tomorrow.'  The HSE have 14,400 JnJ vaccines. Its maddening.
