Supply uncertainty is very fristrating. Looks like we will be getting 140k fewer doses than expected up to March.
April, May, June (I'm afraid to say Q2 ) we are due 3.8 million doses, including 600k J and J one dose. That equates to 2.2 million people fully vaccinated all going well.

So you're saying beer garden pints for the June (and maybe even May) Bank Holiday are a possibility?

It’s keg supply he’s on about. Those Diageo ****s would want to get their finger out and hit the targets

Ah now I see, I took his post literally. But 2.2 million people back on the beer by Q2 would be great news.

You can create your own beer garden experience yourself, buy some cans, find some friends, find a bit of grass (preferably but not exclusively by a river) and have a nice day

It would damage this forums' reputation

Bet we will still have to have our substantial meal in the beer gardens and be gone within 105 mins when we finally reach level 3 in July and don't forget the 11pm last orders gone by 11.30pm. The wait will go on for indoor dining and actually been free to have a drink without overpriced food
f**king vaccine supply issues which will fuel NPHET (who are the real leaders of this country) to keep the full restrictions. Even having our most vulnerable vaccinated is not enough anymore especially with all the VARIANTS out there

Ridiculous . How are they the real leaders of the country? They give the government advice and it is totally up to government whether they want to follow it or not. NPHET can't force the government to follow any course of action.

Some of the reaction to advice from experts is frightening. I was on Twitter this morning and saw 'sackChrisWhitty' was trending. There was hyperbolic statements that he should be thrown in jail, killed and all sorts of nonsense because he feels the government here may have got this wrong. Most of these same people were defending the government and their handling of the crisis or, of course, telling everyone to ignore weirdos like Whitty who have devoted their life to medical science, because Covid isn't real. All of these people were incredibly literate. |

well Leo said only things being considered are:
Easing of outdoor activity restrictions The 5km rule Construction Allowing click and collect in non essential shops Would imagine it means that all retail, restaurants and pubs would remain closed, even for outdoor dining (for pubs/restaurants)

600 positive swabs today which isnt great when it comes after a day of 311.
Wednesday figures are usually high but disappointing all the same.

Concerning but maybe a symptom of the fact that lots of people are getting the shot and some complacency is setting in. The real markers I think are the hospital and ICU numbers. Any idea how they compare?
