Would very rarely eat a McDonalds but they did a lovely burger a while ago , it was like a 1/4 pounder with jalapenos and a tomato relish.
It was far across the sea,
When the devil got a hold of me,
He wouldn't set me free,
So he kept me soul for ransom.

Yeah the addictiveness might have worn off but the novelty factor hasnt

When you cant have something effective marketing makes you want it.

Ffs so its either they are addicted or its the novelty factor. I would say McDonalds is visited by myself once every 5 years.  It's terrible food.

"So much to do at Cartmanland, but you can't come".

The last two months will probably boost McDonalds sales beyond their wildest dreams, especially as I have read how important the delivery/drive through market is for their profits, and that is the only way to get it.

I'd say the throughput of a srivethrough is tiny compared to the regular restaurant

Boris might have COVID again LOL

Business Secretary was profusely sweating at Parliament and had a face to face meeting with Boris and Sunak.

They're just waiting on if the bloke sweating away tests positive or not.

Good point πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ I don't understand the love for it. Burgers are rank. Chips are rubbish. Only redeeming features are curly fries and mcflurrys. Anyone driving and queuing needs to take a long hard look in the mirror πŸ˜‚ burger king equally sh*te. Supermacs and 4 lanterns aren't exactly gourmet but a million miles better. Can't bate a proper chipper though

I do miss a good Irish chipper. There are some decent fish and chip places here, particularly when ya go up to the coast, but they haven't quite nailed the greasiness required.

It is bizarre alright. There are a number of local chippers in town here. Mcdonalds is nowhere near any of them in terms of quality.
They finally did it man... They killed my f**kin' car...

MCD is a real estate company.
The largest % of their profits come from rental income.

They own most of the properties and rent it to some local who pays the rent and royalties to McDonalds. The local has to try and maximise profits by staying open later etc.

Headquarters don’t care about deliveries.

Haven't had a McDonalds post 11am for years.

Their Saugage and egg McMuffin on the other hand is a greasy delight of mine along with the hash brown. I'd be looking forward to one of those when they finally open.
I could agree with you but then we'd both be wrong.

Sure just look at how mental people went for Krispy Kreme when they opened here. Crazy.
