Sure. People standing for an institution they once attempted to abolish, ideologically pure parties managing disputes about candidates, and numerous candidates standing who have been told no by the electorate time and time again.

In reality it’s a criticism of almost every party.

I don’t see anything at all wrong with people standing for positions in an institution they wish to abolish, provided that they don’t suddenly change opinion while they are there.
