I actually think there's a player there and with a better defined role in a more organised professional setup he could be useful for us. It's hard to see it with any of the players at the moment, but the team is just so poorly organised at the moment that they haven't really any hope of impressing.

set piece deliveries were awful last night. He is technically a good footballer but for me he lacks a bit of bite at present. Hopefully he can kick on and become an important midfielder for us.

A nothing player, no personality on a pitch and very little ability to back that nothing up ....and we used bemoan a midfield made up of Whelan and Andrews, proper blokes

Ill give him the benefit of the doubt for now with everyone on the pitch not pulling their weight under Kenny, but so far hes looked the same as Hendrick for all the stick hes gotten.

Many times when our cb's had the ball it was him having to drop deep and look for the ball, when browne and cullen either had their back to the ball or just stood plain idle not looking for it

Referring to Smallbone as "useless" is such a stupid comment, that it really is hard to know where to begin. Nobody came out of the Greek game with much credit. If the whole team is under performing, we know where the blame lies.
