Any appetite with anyone for staying the night before in Vienna? Have an option on a hotel room there rather than going straight to Bratislava...

Pity the boat trip from Brat to Vienna not an option for those with time on their hands and like the touristy trips. Supposed be beautiful but don't think starts until April.
Ah sure fook I forgot I won't be going back via Vienna but Sarajevo and Budapest FINGERS CROSSED

Just checked and from what I see there is a ferry from Brat to Vienna both Fri 27 and Sat 28 at 9am takes 1hour 45min and approx €30 a head. Pricey so probably not suit many.

Just got a Bratislava-Vienna central station train ticket for the Friday morning online for under £11.
15-minute train ride out to Vienna Airport from there

I’m in after 10 I’m travelling solo so will probably get the bus to Bratislava.

If you are on the ryanair flight from Dublin to Vienna, we have 3 seats on a bus, picking us up immediately after landing for €10 a head. 12 seater bus, 9 of us on it so far.

I think Flixbus will let you get an earlier or later bus if the one you booked doesn't suit .

Not taking any risks so have both booked a Flixbus and Slovak line for around 3:30am on the 27th as I've an early flight at 6am from Vienna. Only about 7 quid each.

You could get an Uber / private transfer door to door for about 40. if there is more than yourself it wouldn’t be too much more
