What about Jose Luis Chilavert?
Surely one of the best goalscoring keepers

You never really see players chipping a goalkeeper from outside the box for a goal anymore

Think Dalian Atkinson v Wimbledon

True.

You never see rough tackles and lads just getting straight up and playing on.  Think Steve McMahon getting clattered by Vincent Jones in the 1988 FA Cup Final

Udogie got up straight away from McGinn's and looked like he was going to go for him but then must have copped he could get him sent off.

Rooney spent most of his career trying to do it. Pulled it off every now and then.

Remember when footballers used to wear colourful suits before and after the match.  They'd be interviewed pitchside for MOTD looking fresh after a shower and dressed up in a wine or beige blazer, shirt and tie about to hit the pints in the players lounge before hitting the town.

So corporate now. Cant say anyfink without some advertising logos behind you now.

Defenders getting on with their regular defensive duties ie blocking passes/shots, making a clearance or a tackle etc without feeling the need to celebrate it as if they've scored.

As a certain R. Keane would say 'that's his job'.
The nation holds it's breath...YES, WE'RE THERE!!!

Still have a pair of them in my bag. Puma king version. Tried them on again a while back, uncomfortable as f**k, but I used to wear them all the time as a teen when playing ball.

Cup Final chart songs released by the two finalists.

Grandstand, hmm isn't it? Jumpers for goalposts. Mummy I've scraped my knee! Bit of Savlon. Ouch! Marvellous.

Would love to see tgat for major tournaments. Even if it was just the Euros and WC. Would be easy enough to do these days to put names on jerseys before kick off.
