On a champions league game. Never see a half time interview now in the Premier league.  You do in GAA and the LOI.

They were never a good idea in the first place but it's always easier to judge in retrospect.

We perceived that as normal at the time but it's better to interview once the match is over.
Wings? They're only the band The Beatles could have been.

Utd would have won far more champions leagues if it wasn’t for Gary Newbon 😂

I mean more than one person in a pre planned celebration.

Spurs used to have 4 or 5 lads doing a Klinsmann dive.

The icelandic team doing the reeling in the fish etc..

Half this nonsense should be a red card offense.

I remember seeing the Bebeto baby celebration up in Ballyer before, I wouldn't mind but it was under 14's.

It was far across the sea,
When the devil got a hold of me,
He wouldn't set me free,
So he kept me soul for ransom.

Pre planned celebrations are naff, and one of the most annoying things about football. Worse is seeing videos of them when they happen at amateur level.

So?  One of the players probably became a daddy.

I would like to see Ederson play at CM for 10 minutes in a game.

Rogério Ceni scored over 100 career goals by taking free kicks and penalties as a GK.

Not quite as prolific but Hans-Jörg Butt also hit free kicks and pens while playing in goals.

Arsenal players holding hands and dancing and doing poses like 11 year old girls do in the mirror when they're singing along to pop songs whenever they score a goal...oh wait, they still do that.

Goalies are much better on the ball than they used to be. And the Sweeper Keeper is a kind of outfield role. They could probably do more in the modern game - if the opposition has dropped off, leaving them space to get on the ball and make passes.

David James played as a striker for Manchester City during an infamous experiment a long time ago.

However, the best genuine outfield keeper was probably Jorge Campos. Other goalies might score free-kicks or penalties, but he had the talent to play upfront and scored some spectacular goals.

His counter-attacks should make a comeback. Catch the ball from a set-piece and then run down the field at speed before the defence has time to re-organise.
