Firstly, knockout football Clap

Feckin delighed with that win, we had a lot of close games with the Division 1 teams in the past few years but were just left with moral victories. We were close to a lot of teams in the last 10 mns recently, glad we saw one out.

Game was poor, weather didn't help but some of the misses from both teams were awful. That said, some of the points were fantastic scores (Connolly's sideline free, Clifford from the other sideline).

Cork's tactics were to drain the clock. They didn't want to get into a shootout with Kerry, so kept the ball for 90 seconds or so before doign anythign every time. It's not pretty to watch, but ya have to keep the ball out of O'Shea and Clifford's hands.

Kerry look like they set up a defensie tactic to beat Dublin, and they wanted to try it out. If they's started 5/6 forward to beat Cork, they'd have won. Moran will be the scapegoat, kicked 2 silly shots at the end that dropped short in the last 3 mns, Cork scored from both.

The lad Keane that scored the goal looked a bit lost. It looked a failed expeirment until the last second.

Delighed with the win. Completly expect Tipp to beat us in the final now.

A game where with Dublin a point down and injury time up Bernard Brogan kicks the ball over the bar instead of into the square and a possible goal! Suppose Cillian O’ Connor was to do the same in the 2013 final.
My memory of that game was Dublin up by 2 with 3 mns to go, and Dublin giving away frees in 68th, 69th and 70th minute for Cork to win it

Ross McConnell was a major villain for Dublin that day

Gave away the penalty and got himself sent off on a second booking

Pity because he scored a lovely point earlier in the second half

Dermo was not playing for Dublin that day, he did not play in 2010 at all

Dublin were not quite ready in 2010

I think they would have lost the final to Down

Ultimately losing that day benefitted Dublin in the long run

Trump's getting in the mood early for this year's BDO Darts championship with his shouts of "STOP THE COUNT"

You're a few days late with that one

Dan Waddell came up with that line as soon as Trump had said it

Meant for US Politics

It was because in your previous post you had replied to me

Then you just kept going on the same thread when another thought came into your head

I wouldn't beat yourself up about it

Leave the beating up to the dominant players at the BDO World Championship

I used to love when Bobby George said that about a match in which one player got mentally intimidated by the other - "'E beat 'im up"

Lovely darts

I love a good Bobby George voice impersonation, so I do

FAO of Roberto Baggio - the only previous year in which a Catholic was elected US president was 1960 - your name is on the Sam this year, although Mayo's is also on it for reasons also to do with Mr. Biden

Nice fluent performance by your boys there, including some trademark Down swagger - Down are in the enviable position of having taken exclusive GAA rights to this wonderful word

Loved the way Des Curran accidentally called Donal O'Hare "Dessie O'Hare" there on the Sunday Game highlights

With the no backdoor it really whittles down the field pretty quick. The All Ireland Semifinal will be
Cork/Tipp V Mayo/Galway

All those teams will fancy their chances of being beaten in an All Ireland final now

Mickey Harte gone as Tyrone manager
Eamonn Dunphy:"I'll tell you who wrote it, Rod Liddle, he's the guy who ran away and left his wife for a young one".

Bill O'Herlihy: Ah ye can't be saying that now Eamonn

Ouch

Donegal are f**king pulping Armagh

Donegal were the last team to beat Dublin

At the moment they look like they might be the next

I'd fancy them for the All-Ireland on this performance
