ITV’s coverage is a complete embarrassment.

The bit where they re-enact play in the studio is genius.

Fair play to Stockdale. What a player for his age Clap

Absolute 'cornage' in the Scottish defence. Breffni and his '10 lads in the aportment' will be drinking the hinows dry tonight.
Wings? They're only the band The Beatles could have been.

No complaints here, controlling up front and mixing it up in the backs, maybe il owe Joe an apology in a few weeks.

Very good 1/2 for us.
Very efficient in our scoring and not giving away cheap points.

I agree with Sir Ian, if we continue as we are at ruck time, scrum time, line-out time and Timmy time there could be a lot more try times and then it will be carnage time.

Very professional composed performance against a decent Scottish team, I'm really surprised. Put it to bed next 15 and empty the bench, we going to need a great squad effort to go far

One of our best performances in an RWC game against opposition like that. Too often you get sucked into attritional rugby where you might win or lose by a point or two. The BP is very welcome, but Ireland could have racked up more.

No reason we shouldn’t be able to win the group comprehensively.

Impressive performance especially as they only seemed to be in about third gear. Not sure how bad Scotland were on the day.

8/1 to win it from 10. It's back on. Wink

I’d hate to be in Scotland’s position. That will take a big toll, and I wouldn’t guarantee a win against Japan on the back of today.

He got injured in the first half. I’m surprised they left him on for so long. We can rest him for the next few week.

We’ll top the group so just about managing players now for the 1/4 final v SA.

Scotland, 1978. The more excitable elements of our support give us a chance of winning, but we end up failing abjectly. It only happened Scotland the once though, we're heading for effort 9.
