Clark hasn't played for club or country in years. I actually forget what he looks like at this stage

Can honestly see Ward back in. Even more so with today’s news. Mick will be crying out for experienced players for this one.

Ward. F*ck me sideways
"I called him an embarrassment to FIFA and to himself," .... He said 'No-one speaks to me like that'.... and I said, "well I do' and that was that."

Ward of 'Rats' App fame? Your having a guvnor!!

Hourihane left back instead of Stevens.

Egan in for Keogh and hopefully Duffy makes it.

Wouldn't be surprised to see Cullen start in midfield, brilliant game against 'nobody talks about' Bulgaria.

Just as I was starting to feel confident about our qualification chances...hopefully Egan and whoever the other CB will be can plug the hole well.

At this rate I'll have to dust off the old limited addition lime green adidas predators and put myself forward for defensive role

Barring any further injuries, I think there aren’t too many places up for grabs. Randolph in goal obviously, Egan/K long in the middle of def, Coleman RB. I think (and hope) he goes Doherty LB but I hate to say I wouldn’t be that surprised if he does go with ward or someone else. Whelan nailed on to start, hendrick and hourihane too if they are fit. Also think mcgoldrick definitely will if fit. I think Robinson will likely start, although on the right side rather than the left where I think he is better. Think Mcclean will def start. So I think he will go

Randolph; Coleman Egan k long Doherty; Whelan hendrick hourihane; Robinson mcg Mcclean

Yeah, that's about it alright. Clark and one of Lenihan & Williams will probably take the 2 regular CB's squad places, that's just if we are going on who has been named in the provisional squads so far. Can't see Collins being called for this, though I'm half afraid Ward will be. Nobody outside the squad playing in the top 2 divisions in England is ever really much more than 2 injuries away from a recall to the Ireland squad.

Egan, Stevens, Robinson playing V Liverpool, Robinson taken off after an hour.
Doherty starts for Wolves
Hendrick starts for Burnley, Brady on bench, K.Long not on bench
Connolly on bench for Brighton
McCarthy on bench for Palace
S.Long & Obafemi on bench for Southampton

With Duffy's recent demotion (injury aside) am I right in saying that we are more or less down to 7 EPL regulars, Coleman, Doc, Hendrick and the Sheff U lads ? In terms of minutes played, Connolly is probably next on the list so far this season.

Doherty scores with left foot today. Needs to start considering the position we're in with defenders
