What’s more worrying if your worried about Irish young players is that Conor Masterson can’t even make the bench with the way our central defenders are playing. Cameron and Barbet both out and he still can’t get in matchday squad.

So what, your strategy now for bigging Manning up is to denigrate other young Irish players in comparison? Lest we forget that Manning's position at QPR was even more perilous than Masterson's before Holloway plucked him from obscurity, things can change very quickly in football.

I'd say Masterson will be back playing LOI in a year or two. Was big for his age as a youth so looked good at his age group but the likes of O'Shea and Collins have pushed well ahead of him now. It's a shame because he looked like a talent but he's very unlikely to make the grade as a senior professional. 

He must be absolutely terrible there if even you are saying it.
