I've only seen manning play a couple of times for qpr (and only on tv) so very likely I've just caught him on some off nights but I cant say I've been overly impressed with his performances.

Was at fault for the first goal tonight, poor positioning led to his man beating him and getting the cross in.

Seems to be at fault for quite a few goals. To be expected for someone who's not a natural left back I suppose, it'll take a season or two for him to become really comfortable with the defensive side of things.

playing left wing back and both wing backs are pushed up on a very high line. Qpr should never have lost the game and should have been out of sight but Slovakian no2 rodak was brilliant in goals.
Ryan’s passes and crossing created 3 goal chances and it took a howler from Joe Lumley to hand Fulham the game. What’s more worrying if your worried about Irish young players is that Conor Masterson can’t even make the bench with the way our central defenders are playing. Cameron and Barbet both out and he still can’t get in matchday squad.

So what, your strategy now for bigging Manning up is to denigrate other young Irish players in comparison? Lest we forget that Manning's position at QPR was even more perilous than Masterson's before Holloway plucked him from obscurity, things can change very quickly in football.

Watch the goal and then come back and say he had no fault. He made odoi who is by no means a skilful player look like Cafu. Still hope he does well though.

Been a bit of hype about Manning recently but based on the games I've seen him in he isn't anywhere close to being an international standard left back. Maybe he's better further up the field but he's not playing there this season so impossible to judge.
I'd say Masterson will be back playing LOI in a year or two. Was big for his age as a youth so looked good at his age group but the likes of O'Shea and Collins have pushed well ahead of him now. It's a shame because he looked like a talent but he's very unlikely to make the grade as a senior professional.

His natural position is attacking midfielder so doing well in an unnatural position for him

You clearly don't have a clue about Masterson so; he was never a physically dominant defender, always stood out for his skill. If anything, it's his physicality that needs to be improved.
