2 great gigs that spring to mind were in the big top in the Phoenix park, when they were doing up the point. Acrade fire and Ian Brown. Other than those gigs, the boss man in Nowlan park.

Only January but The Murder Capital last night here in a small club in Munich will be hard to beat in 2020.

The Point seems like a very big venue for Paul Heaton. The gig at Trinity College was sold out, or thereabouts, but that's about 5,000 people.

Even a reduced capacity Point Depot holds about 8,000. That's even before we look at the people from outside of Dublin who will go to the gigs in other counties.

Saw Fontaines in August at a one day festival, looking forward to seeing them properly in February.
Just can't get into them. His voice grates on me
