Dundalk never looked confident taking them penos. Very poor. Shams players looked more confident in the shootout.

Very poor game, Byrne was the stand out player anyway.

it wasn’t the most high quality football granted, but league of Ireland isint , if you want top class football stop watching loi and confine yourselves to la liga lads. FFS. If you can’t enjoy a game of lower standard which is still compelling then you don’t like football.

Great victory today, better team on balance of play. Thought O'Neill was the stand out midfield player on the pitch. Could have back fired on SB taking Burke off just before Dundalk scored. Luckily, the pens were immaculate. Dundalk badly missed Shields and McIlwhatshisname. Duffy will get a few pints bought for him in Derry as will McEneff. Wink SRFC 1725....

Thought it was decent game. Two very equal teams going out to win, it wasn’t just one team defending like you often see at at games at the Aviva. 
The drama of the last few minutes of the 90 and then even the late chance for Dundalk to nearly snatch it.

Defo got the moneys worth and rovers winning was an extra bonus

Jesus can you read?, I clearly stated it was a poor quality game football wise but because of the edge and nerves shown by both sides it was a compelling watch, and so a decent watch despite the lack of quality. But that covers seven of ten loi games so if you don’t find it watchable go back to telly football where I’m sure the purest football of the epl will entertain you. f**k sake.
