Seems UEFA were keen on it being Tallaght as it was already made available for them, from BBC: "Uefa will only make exceptions should no other suitable venue be available on the 'home territory'."

Yeah also pre tournament Derry had named Tallaght as their alternate ground should they progress. I think if they had named Windsor pre tournament they might’ve got away with it

I suspect a bigger part would be the Kazaks having to apply for UK visas at the last minute.

Wouldn't make much difference, would've still flown into Dublin and gotten the bus up.

Along with the rest of the teams who had qualified for Europe who all had Tallaght down as their alternate stadium LOL

Would imagine a team of professional players would need to make sure they have the right visas target then just jumping over the border and taking their chances

They wouldn't need a different visa, if they had a visa to enter Dublin, which they'll need anyway presumably, they're free to go to Belfast.

So he kept me soul for ransom.

Gutted for Derry to go out. Played some great stuff tonight. Tobal didnt really have any shots on goal. Derry had 2 great chances to go 2 up and shud have. Pity. Better side went out. Cant fault them though. Very impressive.
