Decent draws all round today, all teams will be aiming to make it through to the second round at least.

Champions League first round:

Shamrock Rovers v Premlimary Round Winner TBC

Europa Conference League first round:

Dundalk v Bruno's Magpies (Gibraltar)

HB Tórshavn (Faroe Islands) v Derry City

F91 Diddeleng (Luxembourg) v St Patrick's Athletic

If Dundalk win they play Connah's Quay (Wales) or KA Akureyri (Iceland)

If St Pats win they play Gzira United (Malta) or Glentoran (N.Ireland)

If Derry City beat Torshavan they play Kups of Finland. 

All potentially winnable.

Flights booked to Brussels to get to Luxembourg. We're going to have a huge crowd there. Tickets could be a problem.

Good draws all round. We ll be seeded in round 2 if we beat Dudelange.

There quality of the seeded teams in the CL second round is something else. Bate were probably the only ones that Rovers would have had some chance against.

Yeah all the talk of a good draw for Rovers, first round yeah but now not really a hope in the second round. Ok it's the route that took them to conference league last season but would have been great to have had a better chance of going into round 3. 

Thst said, just being regular conference league qualifiers for a few seasons would be sufficient for where the club is now. 

Need to get there first too

The realignment of the tournaments when they introduced the Conference League made it nigh on impossible for Irish team to get to the group stages

What is it with Irish teams and these ridiculous three at the back formations that clearly don't work against European teams?

Both pats and rovers leaving space all over the pitch due to this.

We’re doing it at international level as well as we all know. It doesn’t make any sense as it is so difficult to play.
