City were in total control till the just before half time when stones made a mess of a header that gave villa a goal and a ray of hope at 2-1..city could of been out of sight at that stage.second half villa got tighter and basically put the boot in a bit more but created little...they had a header pushed onto the post in the 85th minute,city had few chances in the second half put failed to score...comfortable winners bar a half hearted villa rally in the second half

his confidence is shot...I very much doubt that stones will play much football between now and the end of the season unless injuries happen.fully expect him to be gone in the summer to,it’s never really happened for him at city and in way we were lucky it was villa today and not a stronger team because I believe stones would of cracked.

His positioning and getting caught playing out from the back were always a liability going back to his Everton days, inexperience the pundits said, experience will sort it etc. Never did and having midfielders played out of position in his place on a regular basis means his confidence must be shot. Injury prone and over rated, West Ham will be his next club.

Walker has been one of City's best players this season. The fact that he has kept Cancelo totally out of the team, like even in the games like today Cancelo isn't getting a sniff, says a lot.
