his confidence is shot...I very much doubt that stones will play much football between now and the end of the season unless injuries happen.fully expect him to be gone in the summer to,it’s never really happened for him at city and in way we were lucky it was villa today and not a stronger team because I believe stones would of cracked.

John Stones has turned into a Phil Jones, a joke type player
Cruising until the Villa goal. Foden man of the match 8 domestic trophies from the last 9 the media are reporting 6 from the last 7 if like me you dont count the charity shield as a trophy

City were in total control till the just before half time when stones made a mess of a header that gave villa a goal and a ray of hope at 2-1..city could of been out of sight at that stage.second half villa got tighter and basically put the boot in a bit more but created little...they had a header pushed onto the post in the 85th minute, city had few chances in the second half put failed to score...comfortable winners bar a half hearted villa rally in the second half

It’s AV - it’s still a very strong line up. I expect City to win by 2/3 goals.

Bizarre having de bruyne on the bench unless he has a knock or something

They should hold this on a Wed night under the lights. Don't like cup finals on weekends.

I'd go for Mahrez or else an extra body in midfield in Gundogan ahead of David Silva at the minute.
Left back is a tricky one, at his best Mendy is easily the best option there, but Zinchenko is maybe a safer option, even if he is a bit weak defensively himself at times. |
