Watford really need to pick up a point or 3 tonight.
With games against Man City and Arsenal they probably won’t pick up anymore.

Maybe both teams would be happy with a point as that would put them 4 ahead of AV and Bournemouth with only 2 games to go.

During lockdown, Leicester had an 8 point lead on Untied,

2 wins, 3 draws, and 3 loses for Leicester since the restart.

5 wins and a draw for United.

They play each other on the last day. Some turnaround in the race for 4th.

Looks like Leicester will need to win by a few at this stage. Losing by 3 or more is gonna cost them a chance on the alst day

Lesta will have a full weeks rest as Man U have to play midweek.
But looks like Lesta will need to win to get top 4.
It would be some cock up if they don’t get top 4 considering the gap.

If Villa win here they could essentially ensure their survival.

This is the first Covid Premier League match I've been actually half tempted to sit down and watch, rather than watch out of a sense of duty - I listened to the radio for the Chelsea - Man City game.

TREZEGUETTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT!!!!!!

The 42 year old French World Cup winner shows his class with a beauty of a first time shot off a corner clearance to put the Villa ahead of the Arsenal, and those home fans are making a racket!

just looking at Watford, has anyone started the last day in the relegation zone, lost but moved out because of other results?

West Brom in 2005? Or am I confusing it with them being the first team to be bottom at Christmas and to beat relegation?

That’s a great question. Not that I’m aware of but it must have happened somewhere.

Possibly happened with Sunderland and Coventry.

That game alone is why they made KO times the same time on the final day, earlier in the day Sunderland lost all Coventry had to do was better their GD and proceeded to just fart about in their own half for 90 minutes.

I assume if Villa/Watford end up level on points and GD, it goes to Goals scored yeah? So Watford need to better Villa's result, or if results are same (eg both win), better Villa's result by a goal
