Not the article I was on about but gives some details here about the Covid effect on finances. Be the same for most clubs and is going to have a big impact on transfers at the majority apparently

Depends on the double ...

League + champions league

League + Fa cup on par with Unbeaten season

League + league cup

I mean a traditional double, league and the main domestic cup.

No it’s not, in the big leagues, qualifying for Champions League is better than winning a cup.

Klopp obviously did

it’s similar to Arsenal unbeaten record

It definitely means something.

I disagree, the "invincibles" won one trophy, ONE!!! got knocked out of every other competition.
Give me a league and cup double over that anyday

Obviously a double is better but everybody remembers certain title winners for the records too

Man U 99 treble
Arsenal 2002 invincibles
City 2018 100 pts
City 2019 domestic treble

Nobody will really remember City’s domestic treble, I didn’t even know they won it until you mentioned it there.

All about winning the League and Champions League double, United the only side to do so in England.

Ok.

Tell Uraguay their two World Cup wins dont count or better still tell England they never won the World Cup.

I've always heard it mooted that TAA will be a CM in years to come, would love to see him thrown in there for two games.

It really does. Hadn't Liverpool dropped five points all season before the break? As in won every single game bar two? And yet now they can't reach 100 points with two games to spare.

Even more impressive doing it with Stones and Otamendi as your centre back pairing for most of the season

And without their best player for much of the season.

EDIT: Sorry forgot it was season before last.

Don’t think I ever used that exact term. He’s never been a great defender. Good on the ball at times
That was his best form at the club from August to Christmas of that season, think he got injured at Leicester and never got back to that form. He’s been way off that form ever since.

+1

When you're pleased finishing 4th you're no longer a big club. Roy Keane once said that and in this modern era there's nothing more true.

"Yay I came 4th" Big f**king woopdeedoo LOL
