Nobody will really remember City’s domestic treble, I didn’t even know they won it until you mentioned it there.

All about winning the League and Champions League double, United the only side to do so in England.

Not the article I was on about but gives some details here about the Covid effect on finances. Be the same for most clubs and is going to have a big impact on transfers at the majority apparently

Couldn't believe it when we didn't strengthen last summer and we've gone on to win it with 7 games to spare so you have to trust Klopp and what he's at. Read a good article online that I cant find now but it was about the club finances and how much Covid has cost them (and everyone else really) with having to pay back millions in TV money and stuff like that. They don't have the money of City or Chelsea so run themselves on a model that has worked up to now but Covid has put a serious dent in that. 

Do agree that there's a few signings needed as backup, especially to the front 3 as Origi & Shaq wouldn't strike fear into any defence. Don't know if he'd take Coutinho back given how he left but if he was prepared to come knowing he wasn't going to play every game & they got a good deal on him then it'd be the type of player that would be a help

But at the end of the day we're champions, have lost 4 games in the last 2 seasons and have a Champions League title in the pocket too. Have been tru too many dark years to not appreciate and enjoy what they're doing right now. Hopefully it continues for a few more years

Why are clubs having to pay back money? The games are still being played.

Shaqiri looks to be gone, and we have nothing to learn from Lovern playing.


I wouldn't include OX or Keita in my argument per say Horsey as they're within the 13/14 core group of players he uses very regularly.

I just think a lot more could have been gained to see exactly how strong his squad was to start the named players/or give more minutes to the likes of Williams, Jones, Minamino, Shaqiri etc since the return of football. 

It will be very interesting to see what he does for the final two games.
