I agree with comments on Rice. Always thought grealish was the real one that got away but have seen a lot of rice in last 12 months. Absolute class player who is so good on the ball and going forward too.

Felt bad for Collins today. Don’t think it was malicious. Was def a red though. A learning experience.

Just watched it, a clumsy but not malicious challange and a mistake, which is strange because people of his age rarely make mistakes in life. A few over reactions on here which is also strange because people dont usually overreact on this forum.

Absolute babies on here LOL

Seriously clumsy, he'll learn from it as he's young and is one of our brightest hopes. How many times did, one of our greatest ever centre backs, Dunne get sent off?

Id be getting worried if he wasn't getting the odd red. Hon Nathan.

It was not harsh it was justified. He looked like had the intention of taking ball and man (likely because it was Grealish he wanted to leave some in). He missed the ball but struck grealish very recklessly.
Ok not a leg breaker or anything but if you are going in that high and recklessly then you are asking for trouble.
He is young for sure and she should learn from it.

Hardly! Het-field brought up Rice randomly and I responded!

All I done was call out the lads who were abusive towards Collins.

I thought he looked like he had the intention of taking the ball. The ball was there. But his big miscalculation was regarding the fact that he would inevitably take the player illegally. It looks like a misjudgement to me and that is why in the follow through he doesn't catch Grealish with his leading foot, rather most of the impact is through his thigh as he bends his leg inwards.

I think you are being incredibly unfair on Collins and making an assumption that he was being malicious when I think it was more a case of a split second decision to "get ball with foot" rather than what you are accusing him of which is that he had speed and malice of thought to think "get ball with foot and get man with foot." That is ridiculous really. If his primary focus in that sequence is the ball well he should have realised he was never going to succeed in achieving getting the ball without an awful looking foul.

I’m putting myself in his shoes and if the ball is there, I’m frustrated and I see that f**ker Grealish then I would be be doing similar Big smile. But he is a leader and ultimately it’s just a situation where he should know better as it was very risky. Even if he had of got the ball this this day and age he probably still would have got a yellow.

In fairness, it wasn’t random. It was about the effect of ‘green tinted specs’ or something like that.
