We are very poor defensively but we need to be aware that these are children, so calling lads out is a bit harsh.
I'd hope the manager can change up the defence or else we could ship a few more goals here.

We'll concede early in the first half here, we're fouling and conceding free kicks left right and centre.

Is this the first set of players we've had coming through that have been affected by Brexit?

My god we're in trouble.

Get lobbying to FIFA about Irish people having the right to work and live in the UK regardless of age ASAP.

very disappointing performance. Had high hopes for this group after watching their qualifiers. Management have to look at themselves here. Don't believe the poles are as good as they're being made look

Can't remember an Irish team ever conceding five in a tournament finals game before.

Maybe with the Brexit impacts clearly being shown here, and in the absence of any realistic prospect of significant improvement in the domestic structures at underage level any time soon, we need a new approach to getting top level professional clubs for our better young players at 16 - Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, wherever, just get them to somewhere where they have at least a fighting chance of progressing.

Germany beat us 7-0 in the first tournament we qualifed for at U17 level under O'Brien in 2017.
