There's a hostel in Dublin for €1600, down from 2 for one night on the 17th. It's for Dublin. Who is going to pay that.

As things stand the vaccine cert is required and will be checked, might change before August.

I went Philly last September, i only ever got the first shot, no boosters, so im not up to date and never got asked, i dont think its a requirement now

I was in the US in October and we had to scan in our COVID cert to the VeriFly App prior to boarding and we were not able to check in until we complete this - we flew with American airlines.

What's the story with getting into the US right now? Pretty much everyone under 50 won't be vaccinated anymore?

My last jab was August 2021, so does that mean I can't get in?

I didn't get checked when I got into the States when going to NYC in October but fairly sure I did get checked before getting on my flight.
It's a big risk to take - they wouldn't think twice about sticking you on a flight back from the US if you got that far.

Any recommendations for Istanbul outside the usual tourist attractions like mosques, Bosphorus cruise etc? Bars/Restaurants? Will be there for 2 or 3 days.

The coastlines of Tunisia (El Kantoui, Sousse, Mahdia and the island  of Djerba) and Morocco (Agadir and Oualidia).  Mediterranean and parts of the Atlantic coast can get very windy.

Going inland gets the benefits of the warm weather on plains ( eg Kairouan Tunisia) or the reg stony desrt or erg sand dune desert.

I thought that terminology was reserved for ****s on their ‘gap ye-har’.

I remember Shadwell Town did Wapping back in the 90's. They also got done away in Rotherham. Don't think they were on their gap year though.

I love that film!

Back in my single days, this was one of the movies I used to obsess over. On one occasion, I rang a girl I was seeing at 7am after a lock-in in Dandelion Bar in the city centre and convinced her to drive into town to pick me up. After promising the world, what actually materialised back in my place was an early morning viewing of I.D. where I got tired and emotional, in the Eamonn Dunphy sense of the expression, by her lack of understanding of why "going in the home end" on an away trip was such a ballsy move by the lads. I then fell asleep and she was gone when I woke up.
I would imagine the episode doesn't rank very highly in her list of most fulfilling sexual experiences. I don't even know if she stuck around to watch the end of the movie.
