Waterford never got out of the blocks until the 60 min onwards. poor performance by us. 1st half we were very stagnant and didn't look up to the pace. poor decision making at the end of the game i think cost us. both 21 yard frees should have been put over the bar and just to get on with the game. we lost valuable time f**king about and 1 of those 21 yard frees we got nothing out of.
on Tipp next Sunday, it's a huge game. if we lose it we are out of Championship come 19th of May. i wouldn't write us off whatsoever. i think tipp were at 100% yesterday and were so for 70 odd min and Waterford were at about 60 to 70% for the first 60 min and finally hit 100% with 10 min to go so i think we will be fresher heading into next Sunday bar any injuries to key players.

Great win yesterday after an OK performance, thought we were going to throw it away in the end and the ref was absolutely dreadful. Tony Kelly and Shane O'Donnell were unbelievable, roll on Tipp.

I haven’t seem many of Dublin’s games this year but after last nights game I don’t have much optimism. Eamon Dillon and Danny Sutcliffe struggled to get into the game. Players who played during the league were benched. David Tracey in my opinion offers nothing can’t win his own ball has no pace and is anonymous for long periods and that’s not mentioning his inconsistent free taking yet we had Paul Ryan on the park who in my opinion is a better free taker.

Changes were made way to late why bring on two subs in injury time when changes were needed 10 minutes into the second half.

We were way to one dimensional and Kilkenny Sussed us out and we got badly burnt in the second half. On the Kennedy incident he shouldn’t and been on the pitch and should be banned

Our championship now hinges on next week and if we play as we did in the second half last night we will not beat Wexford.

surely he should have been ‘sent off’ for interfering with play. Never seen that before.
I could agree with you but then we'd both be wrong.

Kilkenny come out on top against Dublin

Dublin faded in the 2nd half after a great 1st half. The Dublin selector coming onto the pitch was laughable

The GAA's idea of marketing is gathering a few players and managers together and let the media interview them the week before the championship starts. 3 big hurling games this weekend and likely 50k in attendance between them.

I'm sure a reputable marketing firm would have a field day boosting the already big attendances. Cork v Limerick last year had 34k. They expect cork v Tipp to have 25-30k. They should be pushing these games more.

Predictions:
Dublin to beat Kilkenny
Cork - Tipp Draw
Waterford to beat Clare

Edit :
Tickets for the stand are sold out for cork v Tipp.

The 4 guaranteed championship games has probably contributed to games not being sell outs, the fact that tickets to Cork v Tipp in the "1st round" of the Munster Championship are so readily available shows that. If it was straight knock out Cork or Thurles would have been close to sell outs like in the past.

Agreed, seems to be no buzz around at all for it, Most clubs in Clare haven't sold their very limited allocation for the Waterford game.

Cork at home to Tipp should be big and the following week Limerick at home to Cork could be close to a sell out.
Wasn't there a load more games?LOL
There was yeah. I wasn't saying the 95% boost was impressive although the munster hurling championship is very well attended.

I'm wondering after it's maiden year can it hold that number or see another increase.
