Gutted for Dolan but Aspinall played superbly, never let him off the hook, hitting at least one treble on what must have been 90% of his visits and his finishing was exceptional. Great performance.

been a brilliant tournament so far, Smith is a joy to watch and will be hard to play in the final but you have to think MVG will win it outright, chap is on a different level to the rest.

MVG really needs to start winning more of these. He has been the best players for about 5/6 years now and has only won 2. At 29 he is still only a baby in darts but he should be winning whilst he is No1

He also looks like an oversized one! I still find it really hard to watch because of the crowd. I love watching darts, but the World Championships and some of the Premier League are unbearable because of the idiots.

Definitely not ideal having to put up with the crowd but what can ya do, would much rather the crowd of the lakeside and the darts from the ally pally, can’t have it all I guess..

Flying start so far. 5 180’s in the first set.
The 1st semi final was good. Smith has a chance of winning this - 105 average in that semi and a record no. of 180’s.
