Is it not the case that no proper TV channels would pay for it anymore, it had declined so badly

That’s kinda what happens when you go from terrestrial TV to obsolete TV channels. I have no idea what they were thinking with this but I didn’t know it was on til I read on here so even Social media doesn’t pay attention to it

Don’t get why BDO would leave terrestrial TV.

It’s always catered to the more casual audience and doesn’t matter if Quest is a freeview channel because it’s lost 4OD catch up.

Mad stuff.

Thought the darts was farily rubbish this year. The scores in the QF, SF and final were embarrassing. Not one cometitive game.

Atmosphere was so flat when he won. That final won't be remembered.

If Smith continues to miss doubles he could get battered here.
He is doing better than Andersen but needs to take his chances.

Poor quality final. Smith can’t hit a double.

MVG beat Smith in a final earlier this year with an average of 112!!

Michael van Gerwen produced one of the greatest performances ever seen to win his fourth Premier League Darts title as he thrashed first-time finalist Michael Smith 11-4 thanks to a blistering average of 112.37.

It's the second highest ever in a televised final - just below the 112.49 he managed in the 2015 Masters - but at one point his own televised world record of 123.40 was at risk.

wonder if bully stands a chance vs MVG

MVG has been the best player in the world over the last 6 years and has only won it twice.
He will be massive fav but worth putting a small bet on the bully.
I think smith will crumble. If mvg starts well it will be a hammering imo
