I think 0-0 or 1-0 to us sounds about right , now they will get a chance or two and if they score first i am not sure we can get a goal .

Yes we are talking about Andorra here .

Criticising a non-performing manager is consistent with supporting your team, not that complex.

A loss, draw or poor winning performance against Andorra and Kenny should be gone.

Sure we beat Gibraltar by the skin of our teeth under mccarthy with far more senior and experienced players. The performances in the games was as bad as I've ever seen by ireland.

Kenny has promoted 6 or 7 u21 players to the seniors and is moving away from the experienced players that have got us nowhere.

A better performance and a 1-0 win and a host of new younger players has to be seen as progress.  That's where we are now.

Most of the experienced players got us to the Euro's and the last 16.

The new players coming through are either in the lower leagues or sitting on the bench.

It's like one part time team playing another part time team given the lack of game time our players get these days

Yep, it's as if it's not the managers fault we are so poor and that changing him would not really help as we'd be stuck with the same squad...

We will narrowly beat Andorra tonight, but it will be a struggle.

We rarely put 3+ goals past anyone, even back in the days where we had some of our best players. Also, as someone mentioned, Andorra have only conceded more than 3+ goals to 5 teams in the last few years.

The majority of our players who play tonight will either never have played senior international before, or if they have, will be very inexperienced at this level.

Realism is severely lacking on here at times.

And yet it won't stop the bitching a moaning. Gibraltar in Lasndowne in 2015 was the 1st time I think in 30 years we'd scored 7 in a match. Even 5 in a match was rare enough. Always 3 or perhaps 4

Norway barely beat Luxembourg last night with the most in-demand strikers on the planet, and I bet you the reaction on their forum was nothing like what it'll be here when we struggle to a win over a minnow like we always do.

Whilst it's annoying that people have gotten on Kenny's back since day 1, moddly cuddling him and trying to make him immune from criticism also doesn't help.

Luxembourg was by far the worst result since and possibly worse than the Faroes result under Stan and there's no point in trying to deflect that.

What he's been brought in and what the fans want to see is progress - If he's losing to Luxembourg, drawing to Qatar, failing to win against Andorra then later on in the year fails to beat Azerbaijan, that's not progression, that's the opposite, that's regression.

That was 5 years ago.

A couple of years ago those same experienced players barely beat Gibraltar. Swings and roundabouts.

Undeniably fact is you have to keep blooding youth. In the good times and bad.
