He worked with the scout Ruadhri Higgins apparently, so I’d say that’s the link.

Aaah i see..

I know a few serious Chelsea heads and they've told me we've gotten a gem of a coach, every one of them credit him with their defensive turnaround and a proper level headed, pragmatic coach that's gonna turn into a cracking manager(their words).Soooooo seems to be the first positive bit of news for our team in six months.

I read some where he’s from Liverpool so with a Name like that’s I’d image there is some connection down the line

Forget it, lads. He's 34. If McGeady is too old, then so is he!

I think Kenny should give all our strikers a pen and paper. Whoever draws the best set of goals should start against Serbia.

Stephen Kenny: Right, well, can we have a look?
[Aaron Connolly reveals the drawing; it shows himself naked from behind, while walking a dog]
Connolly: What do you think?
Kenny: Well, er...
Connolly: It's me, in the nip, with a dog!
Kenny: [bewildered] What... how... how does that help you visualise scoring a matchwinning goal?
Connolly: What do you mean? I wasn't listening at the start, there. I was chatting to Adam.

LOL
You asked if I'd be anyone from history, fact or fiction, dead or alive:
I said "I'd be Tony Cascarino, circa 1995"

He won't name his squad until the 18th. 6 days before the game.

Good idea. Never knew why they name squad earlier than they have to.  Makes sense to give as much time as possible for someone to be fit or match fit etc.  rather than unnecessary chopping and changing.

It's a bit late notice if you ask me. Monday after the weekend schedule of games would be more suitable.

Serbia named their squad last week.
