Yeah, his total gametime in the Championship, 22 appearances across 1.5 seasons, only totaling 476mins (5.28 games), but he's got 4 goals & 1 assist.

He's well able for that level, all he's ever needed is a proper run of starts, but Norwich totally ballsed up his development keeping him glued to the bench when he should have been out on loan.

He's only had 1 short run of starts for them (6 in a row last Jan/Feb in the Prem)

All senior competitions for Norwich (Premier League, Championship, FA Cup, EFL Cup):

Total apps - 60 (13 starts) across 3.5 seasons

Total minutes - 1,733 (19.25 games)

Goals/assists - 9g / 2a (11)

Norwich haven't been good for him, hopefully he leaves.

They could have maybe sent him out on loan the January he got the hat trick in the FA Cup but after that hat trick id say Farke got a dose of FOMO and held onto him!

But my point is they haven't developed him. He's had a few long term injuries yes, but he's also been fully fit & available for longer but they didn't play him, and also didn't send him out on loan to get games, just kept him glued to the bench.

Lots of 5min appearances off the bench is not going to develop a player.

Played 75 minutes only 3 days ago, hopefully they aren't rushing him.

He's had about 5 touches in first 3 minutes. Will be interesting to see how this goes.

Had a decent first half. Was quite involved. Moreso than Sargent on the far side for sure.

Was definitely used as an outlet for press relief a few times by Norwich and did okay. Did well running down the wing two or three times and got in a cross and won a corner.

Can't see what the fuss is about Max Aarons at right back based on that half. The front three for Norwich seem decent enough on the ball and in their movement but can't seem to get the service from midfield or the full backs at all.
