Watching Leeds match. I'm a broken record I know but how doesn't Farke give Idah a run? Sargent and Pukki don't looking like creating anything. That 42.ie piece talks of Idah being too young etc but Omabamidele has scored and is 19 and Tsolis who he just brought on is 19 too. Idah couldn't be worse than Sargent

In fairness in the 42.ie piece Farke is quoted as saying he misses a lot of training sessions, he is a young lad and still growing which can cause a lot of issues. Some players are physically developed early and some take longer. I thought the comment about missing training was interesting because it shows we can talk all we want but we don't know what's going on behind the scenes

it's above in the thread. But think he meant last season. Having watched Norwich there, in fairness to Pukki and Sargent (and then Idah when he came on) there was nothing at all created for the forwards. Not sure Ronaldo would manage to score for them.

Really good to see idah get on the pitch for the last 15mins. I was getting a bit concerned that he wouldn't kick a ball between the two international windows.
The game passed him by however, and he really isn't developing in such small playing blocks |

By the time he got on Norwich couldnt get past the Leeds press and were just lumping it aimlessly. No service of any description for the forwards. Only saw second half but Omabamidele was excellent I thought. Jamie Redknapp talking through his hoop with the criticism

He was very critical at HT, even said himself at FT he had been over the top. I thought he was Norwichs best player in the second half

I have sympathy for Idah Sargent and Tzolis in this team at the moment. Very hard being a young attacker in this situation. Poor Sargent's reputation is taking an awful battering by playing and I dont think he's as useless as some on here have said.
Idah we keep saying it surely they will look to loan him out in Jan. In hindsight loaning Idah and keeping Hugill as back up would have benefitted Idah and Norwich.

Idah comes on to kill the clock again (95th min) wonder how that benefited his development.
Really worrying that he's played a total of 15 mins of football since the last window and yet will likely start against Portugal. Might be worth just playing Robinson up front on his own even though his form has fallen off a cliff of late. Keane or parrott a surely better options than idah at the moment. |

I watched the Norwich match yesterday, he was only on the pitch for about 90 seconds but did exceptionally well in holding the ball up and maintaining possession and running down the clock. I find it strange that he wasn't introduced earlier as Norwich were struggling to keep the ball for the last 20 mins.
