It was pretty much a Tottenham first team today. It's not inconceivable that parrott didn't get some game time.

However, he isnt playing in the u23 teams and he's not getting game time in the first team... a loan deal seems the most sensible at this point.

A good run in the Championship would make a strong case for him. Most of Spurs’ young lads did it at some time, including Harry Kane.

I dont see why when he has a goalscorer on the bench he wouldn't throw him on for the last 10 or 15 mins. This bull about him not been ready is just that bull. What has he got to lose. He should get out on loan. Hes in no mans land at the minute.

#thfc Mourinho made it very clear that he does not consider Son or Lucas as strikers. Said 3 times during post-match presser that Spurs played "without a striker" and also: "The boys did what they can, you cannot transform Lucas or Son into a No.9 like Harry Kane."

He's 17, how many 17 year old's are getting game time week in week out in the PL or The Championship?

Parrott is playing for Spurs youth team and doing fine, while also training with the Spurs first team I really don't see what's wrong with that?

What you are saying is all correct if he makes the break through at Spurs but if he doesn’t then the question would he have been better served going out on loan or being at a smaller club like Idah or Connolly

I personally think he would be better off playing a bit part with a smaller premier league club or on loan with a championship team.
Because I think he will score goals when he plays despite his age.
Look at Abraham,Mount and Wilson all went out on loan to lower levels first and they got on great and look at them now.

Why would I be happy?

We failed to beat a time near the bottom of the Championship in the Cup.

We're 6th in the PL, a full 6 points off a CL place.

We've got that obnoxious berk Mourinho as our manager.

But with plenty of reasons to be unhappy, picking Parrott won't solve any of them.

Not in the PL he wouldn't.

Because he's not (yet) good enough.
