Well said. Regardless of who's in the photos, he seems like a decent lad who's got a decent break in life and doing reasonably ok with his talent and keeping the head down.

I'd say he is, went to England, playing ball, on the books of Spurs, not afraid to go on loan, always willing to play for Ireland, no pink rims, looks after the family back in Dublin from what I hear. That's all you want, he can't choose his scummy mates. It comes across as petty lads here saying he shouldn't do this or that. Few lads in the Irish setup going back to the late 90s with far dodgier connections than TP.

Not going to ask for names for legal reasons but dodgier connections than being mates with someone who has links to Ireland's biggest ever criminal organisation. Highly unlikely.
