Not to flog a dead horse, but with Alli now out and Llorente hardly covering himself in glory, Troy could still get a chance in the next few weeks.
You asked if I'd be anyone from history, fact or fiction, dead or alive:
I said "I'd be Tony Cascarino, circa 1995"

No he's nearly 17.

If being a few days short of 17 makes you "nearly 17", couldn't you argue that being a few days over 17 makes you equally "nearly 16"? Big smile

By clarifying this I think it might be a good way of stopping some of ye getting your hopes up everytime Spurs pick a team

Don't think so, played against Arsenal in the FA Youth Cup on Tuesday. He did come off in extra time though.

He’s has some career on paper

Won the World Cup and European championship.
Won the league and both cups in Italy.
Won the Europa league.

Really just missing the champions league.

Mentioned on five lives Monday night club there when discussing who Spurs could play up front
Him and Moura were the only spurs player mentioned, others were potential signings (Origi, Rossi, Carroll)
Andy Townsend thinks he’s too young at 16
Sutton made a parrot joke asking chappers to repeat himself

Kazaiah Sterling (20) is obviously ahead of him as he was named on the bench v Fulham.
Llorente will obviously play the next few weeks until Son comes back in Feb.

Troy Parrott training with 1st team today! I doubt he’d make the bench for the Chelsea game tomorrow but maybe he could get on the bench for the Crystal Palace FA Cup tie on Sunday. They have a midweek Premier League game against Watford next week so fixture congestion along with the injuries might offer Troy his unlikely chance of a debut off the bench.

Parrott and Kaziah Sterling weren’t in the spurs development squad last night for a match
Expected to be involved tonight but one will be the “19th man”

Top form! Even his Twitter page suggests he has a decent command of English, very uncommon with most modern footballers. It's the little things
