That was a really good game to watch. The red card in the first leg did the damage for MK really.

Parrott looked a class above everyone else on the field I thought. His link up play in particular was brilliant all game. It would be a bit of a waste if he's back in League 1 next year. One possibility here is that Manning gets the QPR job and takes Parrott and Coventry up with him.

Jesus, Wycombe are dreadful. MK Dons only have themselves to blame.

Front cover of the kerrang more likely.

He's the spit of your man Fabio that was everywhere in the 90s

More like Jimmy Bullard.

They will be gutted if they go out to Wycombe. Don't know how it's only 1-0. Parrott playing well unlucky not to get another goal.

Would be nice to see the young Irish lads go to Wembley a big pressure game that would be a good experience.

Had a really good half even aside from the goal. Looks more than ready to go back to the Championship next season on this showing. Coventry has been very tidy also. O'Hora and Horgan not really involved as it has been all MK Dons on the front foot.

Excellent header. Then won a dangerous free kick with some trickery. Only one goal behind now.

Great headed finish on a tight angle. 10th goal of the season for him.

Wycombe did a job on MK tonight. Very solid team. Bit like Burnley. In a good position going into 2nd leg.

Love Horgan, just don't think he's up to scratch for the International team.

Well hes a decent squad player. Can do a job if needed. Last 15 mins or if there are a lot of injuries. Im ok with having him around.

MK Dons about to KO v Wycome in the L1 playoff semi.
Try starts, along with Coventry and O'Hora.

Big stage for Troy to show off what he's about.
And Wembley beckons so be great for the Irish lads to get to play there.

Would make it a lovely hat-trick of teams with several Irish players if MK Dons can join Wigan and Rotherham in promotion to the Championship next season.
Wings? They're only the band The Beatles could have been.

Scott Twine stealing the headlines for MK at the moment. But he's three years older than Parrott and was playing for Waterford when he was Parrott's age.

MK finish one point short of automatic promotion. Great effort but the playoffs will be tough now - they have two games against Wycombe and then either Sheffield Wednesday or Sunderland at Wembley if they get that far.
