Spot on. Think it really demonstrates players concentration levels. Are they present in the moment or do they find themselves humming along.. |

Do well alright. Playing a Micky mouse Birmingham team though. What's the Birmingham manager smoking playing Crowley as a lone striker?

When Portsmouth in possession/on attack Crowley was up top by himself. MaybeJude joined him when Birmingham were getting forward. The very player who should have been playing deep was Crowley. e

don't think he's good enough to be in our top 4/5 strikers right now but he's only 23 . Next two or three years could come on a lot

If he could get out of League 1 it would be great to see him at a higher level. Not good enough for our match day squad now but could be in a couple years

Scored again tonight. Has had a good run this last while with goals. Could be worth getting him back in the next squad.

He’s 23 and will be 24 in March. If every Irish player was written off at that age, we’d have missed out some good players over the years.

Championship is the cut off for me. Fair play to him, Sadlier and Whelan to a lesser extent given that he's been there done that, but League 1 is League 1. You have to prove it at least championship level.
Incidentally, people are talking as if he's some young pup. He's 24 in March and he still playing in league one. Think some people need to get a grip. Giving some of the attacking options coming up, he'll be lucky to make an Irish squad in the next year or so. Edited by Banjaxed - 28 Jan 2020 at 9:53pm |

In general i would agree but there are some exceptions. Hes young and hes scoring a fair few goals lately. Id bring him back into the squad. If he keeps this form up till the end of the season he may get a move. Or Portsmouth may go up.

It's very hard to judge attacking players in our team right now and how we set up, I have no doubt most of them would feel that way also!
Perhaps under Kenny, he along with the rest of our wingers/strikers etc may well benefit more from a change in style, who know's but I certainly wouldn't be writing him off. Pompey may well get promoted also |
