Is it possible to install third party apps on an Amazon Firestick? My new smart TV has limitations, and would a Firestick be a way round it?  In particular I'm lookig to have BT Sport, RTE Player and Mobdro

Mobdro works fine on firestick. RTE Player not so much.

RTE Player is a disgrace in its own right anyway so no surprise.

You may be ab,e to download an app on both the tv and phone that will allow you to cast. Quick google search for your phone type might help with a solution

Join ‘Irish in London’ Facebook group and there is a few sellers on there.
These are cheap and work 99% of the time.

Hadn't used my IPTV sub since the end of last season, looks like the lad I was with was caught / packed it in and I've been left cut off.

Anyone any decent recommendations for a reliable sub?

‘My friend’ has been using Eddie Gallagher’s sub for a few years now. It’s about 60-70 Euro

Or ‘my friend’ has a second sub with this crowd. The functionality is not as good tho and it costs more.

Best IPTV for the fire stick that includes a catchup option to watch shows I missed that happened over the past week or two across the main channels?

No service gives 2-3 weeks catchup.  2-3 days up to a week only if your lucky.

Plus unlikely that many offer Irish as part of catch up too as most providers uk/usa orientated.

But can shop about see if you find any.

PS - catchup takes up enormous space on servers as recording constantly and storing so much programming is huge task, so in many instances catch-up is a bonus, can be first thing to go in event of server issues and proves somewhat unreliable, so whoever you go with, dont bank on it always working.

Cheers.
