Couldn't find all the games last night so had a poor choice - and had the last 20mins of the United game for company Dead

a few decent games tonight. But I find the group games pretty hard to get interested in - knock outs or nothing really

For those that follow these things more closely, are Dortmund worth an e/w bet? They can be got at 33/1, according to oddschecker.

Must win game for Spurs but a few first team players rested - Eriksen and Son on the bench.
Unlikely to qualify anyway but would have been good to bring it to the last game v Barca.

Playing the Arsenal on Sunday so that’s obviously on Pochs mind.

Whatever the reasons for the likes of Eriksen being on the bench (I'm presuming it's because he has been in and out with an injury recently), there's the question of who would be in Pochettinos favoured starting 11 anyway. For me the 3 behind Kane should almost always be Alli, Son and Eriksen with 2 CM behind them. It's very up in the air though whether the manager looks at it that way - he really likes Lamela and Moura.

No matter what condition Eriksen is though for a game like this, I think he had to risk him. Also I don't buy into the notion that Spurs haven't a good chance of qualifying if they win tonight. Win this 1-0 and Barca get a point minimum and Spurs are in a good place going into the last game. Inter would have to better Spurs result against most likely a mix and match Barca 11 in that final group game, as Barca will have secured top spot.

Me, said he was over rated
He’s f**ked up to give away goals in his last two CL games, and was poor at anfield. Very good tonight though

Looks like Pochettini knew what he was doing with his team selection anyway.

You’re exaggerating as usual.
I think my line was that he’s a tad over rated, I never said “he isn’t up to much”

Thiago Silva hasn't been anywhere near a top class defender in the past 3/4 years. His form had tailed off massively to his form from the few years before that. He was immense tonight though, no disputing that. Be great to see him get another couple of years of that kind of form back before he goes, he was an immense player a few years back.

I guess the saying, one swallow does not a summer make, doesn't hold any merit to some f**ktards on here.

Tbf to him, he was smart enough to call me a space cadet without naming me, so he might well get away with that. Even though anyone reading this section should know his personal abuse was aimed at me. I wonder will he be banned? Mods?

By country:
Spain 4: 3 through, 1 out (Valencia)
England 4: 2 through, 2 on the line (Spurs, Liverpool)
Germany 4: 3 through, 1 out (Hoffenheim)
Italy 4: 2 through, 2 on the line (Inter, Napoli)

The other 4 are France (assuming PSG win in Belgrade), Ukraine v France (Shakhtar have to beat Lyon), Portugal (Porto) and the Netherlands (Ajax).

Betting now, I'd say Italy 4, Spain 3, Germany 3, England 2, France 2, Portugal and the Netherlands.
